      The 2020 Symposium on the Peaceful Use of Space Technology - Health (IPSPACE 2020) took place on November 18 - 20, 2020 at parallel main venues in the US, Europe, and China and several sub-venues around the world with an online and in-person hybrid format, due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

     IPSPACE 2020 focuses on the application of space especially on pandemic monitoring, preparedness, prevention, and control. The event brings together world experts to explore civil and commercial use of space technology on human health, education, navigation, agriculture, environment protection, and finance.

     At the event, scientist attendees jointly announced the Scientists Initiative: Space Tech for the Betterment of Human, calling on the global science community to work together to apply more innovations in space science and technology to pandemic prevention and health management, advocating that the public and private sectors should actively join this effort and lead as innovators in promoting healthy lifestyles, improving health services, enhancing health protection, building a healthy environment, and developing health industries.
